Chuck and I did this song as a living room session, recorded in the sanctuary at the Bryn Mawr Church. This is a song that was featured in a very moving scene of the movie King Arthur. It is said to be a combination of the between Lisa Gerrard’s Amergine’s Invocation and an Old Norse poem called “Song of the Exile", as Chuck and I discuss in the introduction before starting the song.
Several artists have interpreted the song and it was great fun to do it as a living room session!
